Erdem started his career in 2006 as project engineer at one of the most well known shipyards after graduating from Istanbul Technical University, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering department. Between 2010 and 2017, he worked at a major international insurance broking company as a marine insurance broker. During his time there, he also worked in London office of the company. He has been working with Omni team as a broker for marine insurances since 2017.
