Korkut Omur started his career in marine insurance along with his father Capt. Emre Omur in 1982. He worked as claims adjuster in Omur Marine Ltd. until the establishment of OMNI in 1993. He also has extensive experience in salvage and is a board member and founding partner of the leading privately owned salvage company in Turkey. He transformed OMNI to an international marine insurance brokerage with offices around the globe with his long established experience and visionary leadership.
